Richard Schram, M.D.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Schram is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a Fellowship Certified Sports Medicine Specialist who is uniquely qualified to treat sports related injuries.
He has completed Fellowship training in sports medicine with particular focus on the knee and shoulder, earning additional certification in these fields. He has worked with some of the finest athletes including the Houston Texans, the Houston Astros, and the San Antonio Spurs, and has returned professional, collegiate, and high school athletes to competitive levels of performance.
Dr. Schram is Team Physician for the State Champion Lake Travis Cavaliers football team and the USTA.
Dr. Schram is an athlete, himself. He played collegiate baseball and has competed in marathons, triathlons, and is a USTA 5.0 rated tennis player. He is a registered 1st Degree Dan with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation in Seoul, South Korea.
Dr. Schram is also involved in the latest technological advancements involving regenerative medicine and minimally invasive medicine.
